The licensed Glenn Miller Orchestra for Europe will present the new program "BEST OF ..." in the 2023/24 season.
Wil Salden and his musicians are known to guarantee the authentic swing sound in the traditional big band line-up. The Orchestra and vocal group "The Moonlight Serenaders" consisting of musicians, a female vocalist and orchestra leader Wil Salden, will transport the audience back to the time of the 40s and 50s when titles such as: Moonlight Serenade, In The Mood, Rhapsody In Blue, Leroy Brown, Sentimental Journey and more.
Just as Glenn Miller has done, Wil Salden takes the same approach to his programming: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Blue. Sophisticated tunes from the swing era recall, for example, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and, besides Glenn Miller, bandleaders like Benny Goodman and Les Brown.
