Abersee
Abersee is part of the municipality of Sankt Gilgen, located on Lake Wolfgang, and belongs to the Salzkammergut region. The village is also known for the Zinkenbach painters' colony that used to be located there.

The Abarena is located directly at the Wolfgangsee and is an ideal excursion destination for the whole family!
The Arboretum at Zinkenbach, on the mountain side of the village, is a forest experience for the whole family with interesting display boards, a viewing platform in the treetops, as well as lots of information on nature conservation and the management of natural resources.
Sankt Gilgen is a municipality in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung (Flachgau), in the Salzkammergut region of Austria, and has become known as a summer resort.
